Arkansas Grassroots Design Work Group
The purpose of the Grassroots Design Work Group is to develop ways to improve the social and economic conditions of their communities and support community-based economic development efforts by connecting community residents and organizations to new opportunities. The Arkansas Grassroots team has created a mission statement to help define their efforts in the Delta. "To foster communities who bring their economic, social and political resources together to achieve extraordinary results that serve the public good and raise the Delta's expectations of a new culture of possibilities." The group has also identified barriers and the most critical issues they face. They hope to create a directory of services and resources. Members of the Arkansas Grassroots Design Work Group include:
Each of the Work Groups has protected Work Spaces to organize their working notes, research and preliminary documents. Groups can store documents in these password-protected areas.
